National PRSSA Internship Database
The National Public Relations Student Society of America describes PRSSA’s main mission as, “Providing exceptional service to our members by enhancing their education, broadening their professional network and helping launch their careers after graduation.” Here at Ohio State PRSSA, we aspire to fully embody this mission by fostering each and every member’s learning, and development of professional skills. In doing so, it is our priority to provide all active members with incredible job and internship opportunities. If you are a PRSSA paid member, you have access to the national PRSSA internship database.
Ohio State PRSSA Facebook Group
The Ohio State PRSSA Facebook group has a running list of all internship and job opportunities that have been found by or shared with our chapter. Many of these internships are local but there are some national opportunities as well. Follow the link and request access to this group and if you are a paying member you will be accepted in to view internship postings.
CEO of The PRactice: Lindsey Romano
Lindsey is a third-year majoring in strategic communication while minoring in dance and organizational psychology. She is currently a student instructional assistant for the OSU School of Communication. A fun fact about Lindsey is that she has met Jojo Siwa.
Vice President: Katie Liepelt
Katie is a fourth-year majoring in strategic communication while majoring in fashion retail studies. She is currently a client engagement intern at Fahlgren Mortine. A fun fact about Katie is that she loves the movie Mama Mia!
Public Relations Director: Nicole Giannetta
Nicole is a third-year majoring in journalism and public affairs. She is a social media assistant at the Institute for Cybersecurity. A fun fact about Nicole is that she has a 13-year-old pet snake named Carl.
Digital Director: Kobie Parrish
Kobie is a third-year pursuing a dual degree in public affairs and strategic communication. He currently works as a graphic designer for the OSU College of Education and Human Ecology. A fun fact about Kobie is that his name comes from a producer from the Andy Griffith show.
Member Relations Director: Danielle Ingram
Danielle is a fourth-year and is majoring in strategic communication while minoring in professional writing and business. Over the summer, she interned at Southwest Airlines. A fun fact about Danielle is that she has met both Austin and Ally from the TV show.
Alumni Relations Director: Brady Doss
Brady is a fourth-year student and is majoring in communication while also minoring in environmental science. He currently works as a student marketing assistant with The Ohio State University Athletics. A fun fact about Brady is that he learned how to skate last summer and has started playing hockey.
Financial Director: Jessica Barboza
Jessica is a third-year and is majoring in journalism while also minoring in screenwriting and media production & analysis. She currently works as a social media intern for the OSU School of Communication.
Secretary: Nigel Becker
Nigel is a fourth-year and is majoring in strategic communication, history, and political science. He currently works as an associate with The PRactice. A fun fact about Nigel is that he is involved in 6 on-campus orgs!
