In college it is easy to stick to the same routine and become burnt out by going to class, working out, and working everyday. To break this cycle, I have been thinking about new hobbies to explore. Here are a few that I am excited to try and maybe they will inspire you too:
Learning A New Language
Studying abroad has sparked a recent interest in learning a new language. This is more than learning words, it is about connecting with people, culture, and new ways of seeing our world.
Collage Journaling
I feel as if I have always loved to express myself through creative and fun ways, and collage journaling feels as if it will be the perfect in-between! This will be a great way for me to document my memories and show the favorite parts of my life.
Pickleball
Pickleball is a hobby that I am excited to pick up because it combines fun and social connection. My friends and I sometimes play pickleball, but it is not something I regularly do. I feel as if it will be a refreshing break from my daily routine and I can meet people through this experience as well.
Trying new hobbies is a great way to step outside of my comfort zone and bring more balance to my busy college schedule. I believe these experiences will help me grow personally, stay creative, and discover new sides of myself.
